Well, I've failed to do individual posts so here we go with another long one! I vow to do better! Here's our April:
We celebrated Dave's birthday after Landon's. Dave wasn't too excited about his birthday, being that he is now in his 30's! I'll agree with him.. it stinks to get older :( We went to dinner and a movie. We saw the worst movie ever made. Knowing. DON'T SEE IT! I felt it was a mockery to the Creation. I didn't know it was Sci-Fi. It was at least nice to get out. I made Dave his favorite birthday treat, Strawberry pie and got him a new outfit and a new pair of shoes.

I got the boys' pics taken at Target again this year. I love Target, I thought they turned out great!
Landon's Birthday With the Grandparents!
This is the newest addition to Landon's room and obsession. Grandpa Poodge (Dave's dad) thought this would be an appropriate birthday gift for Landon. Isn't it awesome? He named him "Atrayou" I know I didn't spell that right, but it's the boys name from Never Ending Story. We're getting quite the collection of dead animals around here. (Dave brought home a stuffed pheasant.. SHHH...it's in the basement.. he didn't even notice!)
My parents like to take each grandkid out to dinner and toy shopping for their birthday. They get to eat where they want. Leave it to my kid to pick a pricey restaurant. Last year was Olive Garden, this year Texas Roadhouse!

Our Fun Day in Salt Lake
We decided it would be fun to spend the day in Salt Lake. We went to the Aquarium when Landon was about Dawson's age and he loved it, we heard it was even better now so went again. It did not disappoint! The kids loved it! It was a little pricey, but it was so cool to see all the sea life we did!

For lunch I'd been wanting to try out Moochies. It was featured on Food Network's Diner's, Drive in's and Dive's a while back. It's a philly cheesestake place. It too did not dissapoint! Sooooo yummy!! I had mine with mushrooms, peppers and onions. delish. However, if we go again (which I'm sure we will) I will not get American cheese on mine, which comes standard.
After lunch we walked around the temple.While there, Landon asked if President Monson was real. We said yes, and showed him his apartment where he lives. He asked if we could go visit and we explained we couldn't. He then told us he didn't believe us that he was real, because he only sees him on TV. We thought it would be good to show him the conference center, and show him where he is when we see him on TV. I think it helped. The tour was fun, Landon loved going to the top. Dawson enjoyed being his free-spirited self! It was such a fun day. It made me realize how much I love my little family and how blessed I am. Especially being at the temple, and knowing they are mine forever. What an incredible feeling!

I am glad to see Dave has joined the "old timers club" with the rest of us that are in our 30s. Looks like you have been busy, but having fun. We sometimes watch Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. Have you tried Burger Bar in Roy? It was featured on that show not too long ago.

Sounds like you guys have had some fun! I heard that the aquarium is half price on the first Monday night every month. I plan to check it out!
I think your boys are adorable! They look like they both have so much personality. BTW, I love your short hair! It's not "momish" at all (like you were saying). LOVE IT!

I heard The Knowing, was that the title, had like heavy influence of Scientology. Which I don't even know what they believe, but maybe that's some insight.
Oh, I love Target pictures too. I think I am always going to ask for the white back drop though, I've learned I don't like the brown. Black or white for me.

What a fun month!!!!! Birthdays! Aquarium (we've never gone.. I think we need too!) The temple is always a favorite of mine! Landon is such a smart kid! Thats great that he asks questions. And I think it is great that he has good taste! Fancy birthday dinner! Ha ha! What a cutie!

Oh I just love our kids. I love the picture with all the stickers. I'm glad Souli is not a hunter I don't like the thought of stuffed animals, but thats cute Landon has a little animal friend.

We love the aquarium! We planned a trip to go a few weekends ago, but it never happened! I want to take the kids back now that Kenzie will have fun!
